Before the town puts money into landscaping or cosmetic improvements, it must make sure that the residents have protection when/where needed. Public safety must be a priority. Walker, you have a focused vision to work through the political gaming and get Providence VFD back on track to a healthy fiscal position while preserving the high quality of service, AND correcting response areas based on public safety.
